EHX's Crying Tone is one of the lesser seen offerings that never gained the cult audience of others. It's hard to say why as it is a very quirky, very solid wah pedal from a beloved and historic company...

The Crying Tone features wah and volume operation, for a great 2-in-1 pedal like the old Morley's! Albeit a little smaller and free of a dangling power cord. The Crying Tone requires two 9 volt batteries to operate. The barrel plug in on the side seems to not power the pedal on effectively, so it will have to be batteries or two 9V supplies with clip adapters.

If you love wah or if you just love EHX, you should get this one into your collection!
