Up for sale, we have a gorgeous blonde Tele bass from 1972! This bass is 99% original, with a replaced volume pot.

The Fender Telecaster Bass is wonderfully simple. With an ash slab body, one-piece maple neck, two-saddle bridge, and a single pickup with volume and tone controls, it's foolproof and produces a positively MASSIVE sound. In 1972, the Fender Telecaster Bass underwent three significant updates. The truss rod adjuster was moved to the headstock with the new "Bullet" nut design, and the neck joint was updated to the three-bolt MicroTilt system. Lastly, the most visually striking change was the addition of the Seth Lover-designed Wide Range Humbucker with CuNiFe magnets in the neck position.

This bass is in very good condition, showing normal signs of use but overall, playing very well. The finish exhibits light to medium wear throughout, with plenty of small dings as well as some buckle rash. The neck and headstock also exhibit some wear but none of which impedes how the instrument plays. Some finish lightening cane also be noted on the bass edge of the top where the player's arm rested as well as the bottom near the output jack. It's worth noting that everything on this bass is structurally stable and responsive to setup adjustments.

This 1972 is not only a killer instrument but a piece of music history. Its condition, combined with its iconic sound, makes it a must-have. Don't miss the chance to own this beautiful and historically significant bass!
