Here we have a interesting entry in the ever-classic annals of Fender history.

This Princeton Amp (non-reverb model) has transformers and pots that range from 1980-1981 with a chassis dated 1979 for a model discontinued in 1979. The likelihood that some old Princeton chassis were dug up after the fact seems likely- possibly making this one of the last Princetons ever made in the CBS era. The circuit looks to be largely original with the occasional replacement part. The blue Mallory coupling caps and filter caps are present as well as some era-accurate Fender branded tubes. The speaker however has been dated to 1994, an Eminence Special Design for Fender 10" replacement.

The non-reverb models are known for having more mids, more bite, and more touch sensitivity- the sound often likened to the "blonde" era Fender amps. This beauty is nearly spotless and includes the original cover!
