Just in! The Marauder is one entry in the Gibson catalog that has yet to break out of cult status. One of the instances where getting your hands on an all original, vintage guitar that plays great and has a unique sound won't break the bank. Mick Taylor, Pete Shelley, Lee Ranaldo, Josh Homme, and Mac McCaughan are amongst some of the punk-rock royalty to have wielded one of these. Alongside that- Paul Stanley has been rumored to have smashed quite a few of them, waiting for the encore to bring it out.
We'd appreciate it if you DIDN'T smash this one, because it is one of the few we've come across that lives up to the Gibson name. It plays great with minimal buzz, nice medium-low action, and fresh polished frets. The frets are original and show some light The pickup blend control is a fun feature for finding all the in-between sounds of your pickups.
At some point the body split at the seam about halfway up to the neck, but it's been re-glued- right as rain, ready to rock!
