Straight outta 1980s Japan, the Aria Pro II RS Esprit is a sleek "Super Strat" produced by Aria in the Matsumoku factory. Played by the likes of Yngwie Malmsteen when he was with ALCATRAZ, it's no question that this guitar was designed with speed, dexterity, and flash in mind. The arrowhead-like headstock, rounded horns, smooth joint heel, and other ergonomic carves really make this a comfortable guitar to play. The pearl finish, dark rosewood fingerboard, and patina'd gold hardware make this thing look like the axe that fell from heaven! You just don't see these guitars like this floating around much these days.

This guitar is in very good shape and shows normal signs of wear which can be seen around the horns and tummy cut (just some scuffs and dings, all pictured). It's set up with medium-low action for minimal fret buzz and optimal sustain and it's no question that this guitar is a shredder. The previous owner had a Khaler tremolo system installed which suits the guitars aesthetic also provides solid tuning stability but some screw holes can be seen where the ACT-3 tremolo was.

The pickups have a magnificent sparkle to them. You can get some ultra crisp cleans and some good bite when crunch and high gain settings. It should be noted that the bridge pickup is a bit noisy and which may be the result of a bad capacitor. As for the controls, you have a standard three way selector switch, two active tone knobs, and two Q selector switches for adjusting the filter bandwidth. At certain exaggerated settings, you can almost achieve wah-like sounds when working the tone knob, and the pickups have an almost Piezo sounding attack. Magnificent cleans and punishing distortion when pushed!

This super cool guitar can be had for a song due to it's oddball nature- but if you're looking to stand out from a sea of Fenders and Gibsons- this is your chance!
