Manufactured from 1985 to 1986, the DSD-2 is a combined Digital Delay and Sampler. The Delay shares the same chip as the DD-2 and has two modes, Short and Long (S and L). Short gives you delay times from 50ms and 200ms whereas Long ranges from 200ms and 800ms. The sampler has two modes as well (Play and Rec/Play). In Play, a recorded sample can be triggered whenever the pedal is depressed or when an external trigger is linked up. In the Rec/Play, a new sample can be recorded while a previously recorded sound is being replayed. Sampling time is limited to 0.8 seconds. This pedal was owned by Brad Whitford of Aerosmith.
