1994 Gretsch G6121 'Roundup' MIJ w/ Cowboy Case

Just in! This 90s Gretsch Roundup is giving smiles all around at El Diablo Amps & Guitars :) This iconic reissue model is beloved for its chunky yet articulate tone, and unmistakable Western styling. The ever-classic branded orange top sets the stage for the gold hardware and Bigsby vibrato that any picker would grin over. As you follow up the neck, a host of beautiful and entertaining inlay will leave you wanting to start the next revolution in Western Swing! This is the true cowboy killer!

Kept in pretty marvelous shape for its age- there's only light buckle rash and some hardware patina worth noting. The top finish has remained glossy and free of major dings/dents, which makes the dullness of the hardware really pop with a raw and rustic quality. The action feels great, and there is minimal fret wear- no dead spots and no fretting out! Transferring registers comes with ease- so don't let the Tele players have all the fun! The pickups can go from jazzy to quacky without breaking a sweat, making this guitar much more versatile than one would think... However, we really love 'Trons here at the shop- so we may be biased! The vibrato arm sits low, but grabs easy and has enough swing to give the familiar wobble found on all the best 50s, 60s, and 70s country cuts.
