2013 Marshall JVM410HJS Joe Satriani Edition 4-Channel 100-Watt Guitar Amp Head

If you could have the cleans of a Marshall LM6100, and the gain of a JCM800 (2203) and an AFD100, wouldn't you feel like your bases are pretty much covered? Joe Satriani agrees. 

The JVM410HJS is a 100-watt amp driven by four EL34 and five ECC83 tubes that can produce a remarkable range of tones, from sparkling clean to highly saturated and harmonically complex distortion. The amp offers incredible dynamic response and is easy to manipulate onstage to access a wide variety of sounds. At first glance, the Joe Satriani JVM 100w head looks like a JVM410H, but you'd be mistaken..... This amp shares a similar appearance with its predecessor, the JVM410H, featuring a four-channel design and 28 knobs arranged in six distinct sections. However, upon closer inspection, there are several significant differences. Marshall worked closely with Satriani to make numerous changes to the internal circuitry to achieve his desired tonal character and dynamic response.

If it is a classic clean tone you're in need of, then this amp delivers. The clean channel is based on the 30th anniversary 6100 when in green mode, with the orange and red modes being hotter variations of that. If you’d rather dial in a crunchier and more overdriven tone then the crunch and overdrive channels will suit. Both channels are voice matched for smoother transition between modes too! After much experimentation, discussion and playing with prototypes, all channels and modes have been re-voiced to Joe’s EXACT specifications.

The master section includes separate master 1 and master 2 controls, which are individually assignable to each mode, along with a master 2 switch for manually switching between master 1 and 2. The amp also features resonance and presence controls, a programmable foot controller with six switches, a programmable serial effect loop, a power amp insert, an emulated line output, and MIDI in and thru jacks.

These amps were discontinued in 2018 and only a couple show up for sale these days. This amplifier is in MINT condition and ships in it's original box.
