The Pit Viper occurred from the desire to craft an overdrive that defies all conventional labels - eschewing terms like "transparent," "amp-like," "tube-like," or "vintage." It boldly embraces the solid-state, offering a rugged upper mid-boost that treads the line between pristine clarity and considerable distortion. This versatility of this drive caters admirably to many styles. Furthermore, the Pit Viper delivers substantial output range without necessitating higher voltages for power (even though it technically accommodates up to 15V). This version of the pedal has been discontinued but the eurorack version is currently available.
