Carr Mercury V 16-Watt 1x12" Guitar Combo

The Mercury V is a reinvented version of the Carr platform, delivering powerful and versatile British tones reminiscent of Marshall. It offers a wide range of sounds, from thick cleans to punchy midrange crunch and roaring distortion, all packed into a portable combo for rehearsals, studios, and club stages. Vintage Guitar magazine previously hailed the original Mercury as the "Tone of the Gods," and the Mercury V takes that praise to another level. With its preamp circuit featuring dual Volume controls, a three-position Boost switch, and a three-knob EQ stage, it can achieve various gain structures and voicings to suit a slew of different genres and playing styles. The 16-watt amp, powered by a pair of 6V6's, can be further adjusted using an onboard attenuator, allowing it to operate at 4 watts down to a whisper. It also features a Line Out for easy connection to PA systems or recording interfaces!

This amp is in excellent condition. It has not been extensively gigged, and has been kept in a smoke-free home.
