Instead of offering a mere blend control, the Carbide divides your signal into two separate paths: one path leads to a potent clean boost tailored specifically for downtuned instruments, while the other path is directed into the distortion gears. Each path has its own volume knob, allowing you to finely adjust the desired level of dirt. Additionally, an Emphasis control tightens the extremely low frequencies and reduces the treble, enabling the boosted frequency bands to stand out prominently in the overall mix.
