Between 1966 and 1968, Mosrite crafted two fuzz circuits: one with silicon transistors and the rarer germanium version, approximately 250 made. The rise of psychedelic rock, fueled by hits like "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida," drove demand for fuzz. Notable users included Ron Asheton and Norman Greenbaum. Catalinbread has faithfully recreated the Fuzzrite Germanium pedal based on an original, adding a modern twist with a toggle switch for beefier low-end in today's setups.
