During the late 1950s through the 1960s, the Teisco brand was a purveyor of unique and intriguing guitars, basses, and synthesizers. Of all their models that exist, the Fire Bird stands out as an exceptionally rare find. It's possible that these guitars never made it beyond Japan, but this remains uncertain. However- you need not worry! Eastwood revived this distinctive model as accurately as can be, with a few modern refinements. This version features a semi-hollowbody design with eye-catching asymmetric double-cutaway, f-holes, and 5-ply binding. A vintage-style Deusenberg vibrola system with roller bridge, bolt-on 24.75" scale Maple neck, and dual Eastwood P90 Pickups round it out with an unmistakable vintage tone.
Great for country-western and 60s/70s World psychedelic music. The vibrato can't do divebombs, but perfectly recreates the fluttering and warbled guitar lines found in the lo-fidelity recordings of the era.
