The award-winning, now discontinued EHX HOG (Harmonic Octave Generator) is a fully polyphonic guitar synthesizer that lets you control up to 10 interval pitches with no glitches and no need for a special pickup. It can produce anything from deep sub-bass tones to rich multi-octave chords. Transform your 6-string into a 12-string, or create a convincing B3 organ sound. While it's incredible on guitar, it works equally well with any instrument.

  • Provides adjustable harmonic intervals, including -2 octaves, -1 octave, original note, +5th, +1 octave, +1 octave +5th, +2 octaves, +2 octaves +3rd, +3 octaves, and +4 octaves.
  • Functions directly from the output of your instrument.
  • Supports an optional expression pedal with 7 selectable modes: +/- 1 octave and 1 step pitch bend, freeze + gliss, volume, wah, and filter frequency.
  • Pitch Bend mode converts the HOG into a whammy pedal.
  • Freeze mode introduces a unique guitar effect, allowing you to freeze a note or chord to play over it or slide to new notes, similar to keyboard portamento.
  • Features dedicated resonant filtering with adjustable frequency control.
  • Includes amplitude envelope control to modify the note's attack for swell effects or to speed up the decay.
  • Offers separate amplitude envelopes for the lower and upper harmonic regions.
  • MIDI input enables expression control using MIDI pitch bend.
Both the unit and preset footswitch have their original boxes. Comes with an EHX power supply.
