Godin guitars come from a small family owned business in Quebec, where the commitment to making high quality guitars at realistic prices is the goal. The Montreal Premiere is an excellent single-cutaway semi-hollow build with humbuckers- great for jazz, blues, or singer/songwriters. The thinner body is super comfortable to play seated or standing, and offers a natural woody tone through an amp or unplugged.

This guitar really owns it's 24.75" scale and only requires a soft touch to make it really project- it plays gracefully with low action, minimal buzz, and nicely crowned frets that show little wear. The body is in great shape cosmetically- the now discontinued Trans Black finish shows almost no signs of use aside from light buckle rash, and the finish adds a complex array of blue and gray shades to the Canadian Wild Cherry top and back. You can play 13 chords all night and look great doing it with this finely crafted guitar!
