This one feels like holding fire with a fast, gunstock oil finish neck, medium jumbo fretwire, and an appropriate 8.7lbs weight. This spin on the classic Gibson model offers more clarity and bite as well as stylized architecture, while retaining the full bodied resonance LPs are famous for. Right out of the gate, an E chord through any amp in the shop comes with a grin, and all the way up the neck the effortless action and singing sustain make for a quality instrument that is familiar, but different enough to stand out on a stage.
