Another stunning build from Minneapolis amp guru Jeffrey Falla, this custom 35W head and cabinet delivers an extraordinary range of tones with the precision and craftsmanship expected from a boutique amp. The hand-built head, encased in a durable metal cage housing from Hammond, is paired with a silver/black tolex cabinet featuring a striking red and black grille. Together, they weigh approximately 35 lbs, making it a versatile rig for stage or studio.
With 35 watts of power driven by two 7591 tubes in the power section and two 12AX7 tubes in the preamp, this amp can easily transition from buttery clean tones to gritty, almost fuzz-like distortion. The tone is sculpted by the intuitive 3-band EQ (Treble, Middle, Bass) while the 12" Weber Chicago High Power Series ceramic speaker delivers a smokey, organic tonality. One could also say that it is voiced a bit darker but still cuts through a mix. Although there are no built-in effects, the pure tube-driven tone is more than capable of handling any pedals you throw at it.
Jeff designs his amps with the musician in mind. He put's boutique-quality care and attention into an amp that is rugged, elegant, and priced for the gigging player.
