FET and Germanium, living in harmony! The Suppa Phat Phuk is an excellent not-so-clean boost pedal that has a very useful set of controls. Bias and Volume work together- running the Bias hot will keep the transistors working their hardest, but can be pulled back for humbucking guitars to stay clean. You're able to find a small amount of dirt within the pedal that adds a tweed-like attack but keep the guitar and amp character shining. Best of all "Phatness" is a low-cut, which as you dial to the left removes any muddiness, and gives you clear yet warm sound. Just the pedal.
