If you're looking for a high end resonator, look no further. This 2000 National Reso-Phonic Radio Tone is a quality example of everything a resonator should be. In a stunning burst finish, this guitar sounds sweet, mellow and resonant (perfect for slide and finger picking). The maple body is a unique appointment for your typical resonator and absolutely sings when strumming chords, an awesome guitar to add to the arsenal if you're into folk or Americana. Although there is little out there about these Radio Tone series from National, we must say the headstock decal imparts a rather retro look, these don't pop up often and showcase a unique side of this historic brand! Please note, there is some minor cosmetic wear to the body as seen in the photographs, typical for a 26 year old guitar!

Key Design & Specs
  • Body: Laminated maple top, back, and sides with distinctive radio-style slot soundports instead of traditional f-holes.

  • Bridge & Cone: Biscuit-style bridge with a 9.5-inch hand-spun aluminum resonator cone.
  • Scale & Neck: 25-inch scale length, 1.875-inch bone nut, and a comfortable round maple neck joining the body at the 12th fret.
