Description
This 2013 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro II Gold Top features a traditional weight-relieved mahogany body with a maple top, a ’50s-profile or ’60s-profile mahogany neck option, and active electronics including an onboard boost circuit. An added bonus, this one comes equipped with an aftermarket Bigsby, so you can keep on rocking in the free world. Notice some slight discoloration in the binding (see photos) by the selector! If you're looking for that classic Les Paul design with refined electronics to meet the needs of todays player, look no further!
 
Body & Construction
  • Body Material: Mahogany with traditional 9-hole weight relief and a carved maple top.
  • Finish: Gold Top (gloss top with satin back and sides).
  • Binding: Single-ply cream top binding. 
 
Neck & Fingerboard
  • Neck Material: Mahogany.
  • Neck Profile: Available in either a ’50s rounded profile or a slimmer ’60s profile depending on the specific sub-model variant.
  • Fingerboard: Bound rosewood with pearloid trapezoid inlays.
  • Scale Length: 24.75 inches.
  • Nut Width: 1.69 inches (1.695” / 43mm).
  • Frets: 22 frets. 
 
Electronics & Hardware
  • Neck Pickup: ’57 Classic humbucker. 
  • Bridge Pickup: Super ’57 humbucker. 
  • Controls: 2 Volume controls with push/push (or push/pull) coil-splitting and 2 Tone controls (one activating a true-bypass 10dB boost circuit powered by a rear 9-volt battery compartment), plus a 3-way toggle pickup selector. 
  • Tuners: Locking Grover 18:1 "Tulip" tuners.
  • Bridge / Tailpiece: Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge with a stop bar tailpiece.
