2016 Emerald Guitars FLOW 5-String Carbon Fiber Bass

Here’s something you don’t see every day!

The FLOW is an extraordinary five-string electric bass from Emerald Guitars of County Donegal, Ireland, combining innovative carbon-fiber construction with sophisticated active electronics and a striking, modern design.

This 2016 example is in MINT condition, weighs just 7 lbs, 1 oz, and comes with a high-quality Hiscox hard case.

Unlike conventional wooden instruments, the FLOW features a seamless, one-piece carbon-fiber neck and body structure. Emerald developed its proprietary Emerald Tone Compound (ETC) core to give the instrument its distinctive tonal character, delivering a strong fundamental, impressive sustain and articulate response across the frequency range.

The sculpted body is designed for playing comfort, while the carbon-fiber construction offers excellent structural stability and resistance to changes in temperature and humidity.

The electronics are equally impressive, with EMG X-series pickups and an active EMG BQC preamp, providing extensive control over the bass’s sound.
