The MXR M225 Sub Machine is an all-analog octave fuzz pedal that combines the shaggy vintage tone of the La Machine fuzz with a growling sub-octave circuit. It features independent volume controls for the fuzz and sub-octave, a series/parallel switch, and a footswitchable upper-octave mode.
- Dual Octave Control: Offers both a growling lower sub-octave and a searing upper-octave mode.
- Series / Parallel Modes: Toggle switch lets you run the sub-octave signal straight into the fuzz circuit for heavy saturation (Series) or alongside it as a split channel (Parallel).
- Control Layout: Includes knobs for Fuzz, Tone, Volume, and Sub (sub-octave level).
- Footswitches: Bypass switch (with blue LED) and an Octave switch to kick the fuzz into upper-octave mode (with red LED).
