The 1967 Guild Starfire XII is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and unrivaled sound quality. This unique cherry finish has a timeless appeal, and is guaranteed to stand out in the crowd. While it might not have been as popular as its Gibson counterparts, the Starfire series were the pride of Hoboken, New Jersey, and believe us, this thing has some serious jangle.

The quality of materials and attention to detail at the Guild factory back in the day was unparalleled, rosewood fingerboard, double bound semi-hollow maple body and a mahogany neck, the makings of a great instrument are all there. The DeArmond humbuckers help roll off some of the higher transients produced by a 12 string, they sound warm and well balanced. Small details like like the pinstripe up the neck, the harp tailpiece and the Starfire truss rod cover are an added touch of class. perfect example of a premium vintage instrument…no cracks, no breaks, no repairs; other than a small blemish near the headstock. This thing is about as original as it gets and it shows. For all you deadheads rumor has it that Jerry Garcia played one of these back in the day! Why shell out for a 335 when you could buy an incredible example of a vintage Guild!?
