1983 Wurlitzer 200A

Just in! We have a beautiful, late Wurlitzer 200A. By this time they really had 'em dialed in, before the synth-mania of the 80s practically removed them from popular music completely. These later models feature re-worked amps for more volume, preamps on the reed bar, reed bar shields reduce hum and noise, and speakers mounted to the top, rather than the body. Born on March 11th, 1983, this one was one of the "endlings" for the Wurlitzer electric piano. 

All- if not, almost completely- original. Recently serviced, the action is superb, and the tone is magnificent. All the typical Wurli quirks are there, and everything is included from the sustain pedal to the music stand.

Headphone and Auxiliary outputs are relatively low-noise, and the speakers do a great job of capturing the vintage "golden era" tone of the instrument.

Supertramp, Queen, Ray Charles, Beck, ABBA, Rolling Stones, and countless hip-hop samples have utilized this unique, warm, comforting tone.
