1998 Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier 100w Head - Rev C Modded by Mike Bendinelli
Just in we have a 1998 Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier (Rev G) 100 watt head. It has been modded by the legend Mike Bendinelli of Mesa fame to sound closer in character to the coveted early 90's Revision C (only a few hundred were made) and as far as we know this was one of the last mods he completed before calling it quits. Although we don't know the exact details of what this modification entails, the chassis adorns Mike's signature dated 2024! This amp sounds amazing and cuts like a knife.
For those who don't know, the legendary Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier is a 2-channel, 100-watt all-tube guitar amplifier known for its dark, bass-heavy, and high-gain "90s sound". It features 4x6L6 power tubes, 5x12AX7 preamp tubes, 2x5U4 rectifier tubes, and introduced a parallel effects loop, along with a "spongy/bold" power switch.
