Just in! We have a Carlsbro CS60TC 60w guitar head from the late '60s or early '70s! Its not often these Carlsbro Amps pop up, think Marshall/Hiwatt/Sound City, but seldom heard of. Little is known about these rare birds, but if you're looking for that classic British amp sound, look no further! Some have described it as a poor mans plexi, but we'll let you be the judge. 

Bonecrushing volume, pleasing breakup, vintage vibe; this amp has it all. Features of note include recently upgraded preamp tubes, an added standby switch/ohm selector on the back panel where the serial/model badge used to be; and a replaced IEC cable attachment. In very good shape, a few missing knob caps and the tolex is showing signs of wear (nothing major, typical for its age).

Powered by a pair of EL34s and 3x ECC83S in the preamp section, this amp provides low noise, low microphonics, and a warm, thick tone with detailed low end, while absolutely delivering on volume and clarity. Bass and Treble controls for each channel are highly interactive when jumpering, and the Top Cut control works nicely the help tame harsh transients. It's difficult to identify these transformers, they could be old Partridge or Drakes, we're not entirely sure. These hardly ever pop up, and this one is in great shape, don't sleep on it!
