Pair with your favorite OD to add some broken texture and decay to your drive sound. Put it after reverb to add a thick wall of sound that’s perfect for shoegaze or noise rock. Can also do the starved vintage fuzz thing with the texture knob all the way up. And due to the gating nature of the AMP DEATH distortion device - the pedal is very quiet when on but not playing. Probably the quietest distortion/fuzz I’ve ever heard. Note that it doesn't "clean up" well like a fuzz face. Turning down the volume on your guitar will make the broken decay effect stronger and the transistors will eventually shut off.
