The Fender American Deluxe Strat Plus makes it easier than ever to mod the sound of your Strat to suit any musical situation. It's like having three guitars in one. You get everything you know and love about the Stratocaster, plus a set of three personality cards that re-wire your guitar with specialized pickup and circuitry modifications. Just pop open the easy-access compartment on the back of the Strat, put in your personality card of choice, and rock out. With three distinct voices, plus N3 Noiseless pickups for sweet tone and a compound-radius fretboard for incredible playability, you'll be amazingly well-equipped for any gig with the American Deluxe Strat Plus.

So you see you can easily alter the fundamental tone of your American Deluxe Strat Plus just by swapping out personality cards, but what about more traditional modifications? Thankfully, the American Deluxe Strat Plus sports fully solderless electronics that make further circuit mods fast and easy to accomplish. So while the personality cards give you an incredible shortcut to modded Strat tone, nothing stands in the way of fine-tuning your tone even further. The trio of N3 Noiseless pickups on the American Deluxe Strat Plus is the perfect foundation for the tonal versatility of the personality card system. These pickups have a wide tonal range, and excellent clarity and balance. You'll have the spanky, chiming sound of single-coil pickups, plus the hum-canceling characteristics of humbuckers.

Only produced from 2014-2016, don't skip out this futuristic piece of Fender history! Aside from a few minor scuffs and a tiny ding or two, this guitar is in great shape for its age and plays quite well; weighing in at a precise 8lbs! Included are the the 3 original factory Personality Cards:

Standard: Gives you a standard Strat sound, with the 5-way pickup switch working as you would expect.

Blender: Tone 1 = Master treble cut. Tone 2 = Blends in the neck or bridge pickup depending on the position of the pickup selector switch.

Cutter: Tone 1 = Master treble. Tone 2 = Master bass cut. This card also gives you an HSS set-up, with the bridge pickup becoming a full humbucker, position 2 splits the humbucker with the middle pickup in parallel.

• Body: Solid Ash or Alder (depending on finish) with a gloss urethane finish
• Neck: Maple, bolt-on construction, with a modern "C" shape and satin urethane finish on the back
