Just in! This pre-loved ToneTron 5W amp is a joy for recording, small gigs, and home practice! A unique build utilizing 2 x dual triode tubes in Class AB operation (push/pull) for response like 20+ watt tube amp, but from a little package! Super cool, super unique. Recently serviced and has a clean bill of health!

From Jeff of ToneTron Amps: "Most 5-Watt amps use a single power tube in single-ended class A operation. I wanted a 5-watt amp operating with tubes in push-pull class AB, like most 20-watt and larger amps. The idea was to have a 5-watt amp with more headroom and with even-order harmonics when overdriven, like larger wattage amps. I wanted the amp to be able to be used for a variety of musical styles. To keep the wattage low, I used small signal driver tubes with two triads in a single bottle. One tube (two triodes) results in about 2-3 watts in class AB, so I used two tubes for a quad of triodes putting out 5 watts of audio power."
