Current Stock:

In on consignment is a 2011 Collings D1 Dreadnaught, outfitted in all black. The globally renowned 14-fret dreadnought with a square-shouldered design stands as the most widely favored body shape for steel-string acoustic guitars. While many companies make this style of guitar, Collings distinguishes itself by introducing a fresh tonal clarity to the typically deep and warm sound associated with such large-bodied instruments. Despite the dreadnought's well-suited bass response for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are also favored by bluegrass flatpickers navigating the challenge of competing with inherently louder instruments like banjos and fiddles. With an extensive array of wood options and neck sizes, Collings caters to dreadnought enthusiasts, enabling them to discover a model that perfectly aligns with their playing style and tonal preferences.

This guitar shows minor signs of use with only a handful of shallow finish marks, swirling, etc. Fretwear is minimal and the guitar is structurally sound and set up with optimal action for the best possible playing experience.
