Meticulously handwired, the Bruce Clement (BC Audio) ammo can amplifiers are worthy of legend! 15 or 25W power depending on your choice of power tubes and rectifier tube. No master volume or tone control, but a surprising amount of amazing and usable tones are available blending the Bright and Normal channels and dialing back the bite where you like it with the Presence control.
ALL OCTAL! Big tone comes from big bottles, and with a slew of 6SL7s in the preamp the response is highly touch sensitive with delicious harmonics that can bark, scream, or soothe. The limited Ammo Can option has a look all its own, and with everything front mounted- this means no more peeking around the back of the amplifier trying to guess which switch is the power! Another interesting feature is the can acts as a heat sink to prevent overheating- the enclosure will get hot! It's okay!
We've had the No. 8 in shop before, and we were not disappointed. The No 7 is proving no different. Must be heard to be believed, but just a glance at the guts foreshadows its tonal perfection.
