Join us for the 2026 Lakeside Guitar Festival Pedal Swap and spend the morning buying, selling, trading, and talking gear with fellow musicians from across the Twin Cities!

Whether you’re bringing 3-4 pedals or an entire collection, you’re welcome here. Last year’s event featured hundreds of pedals, great deals, and a great excuse to hang. If you’ve never been to one of our pedal swaps, you’re in for a treat!

Important!

The Pedal Swap is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

You only need to register if you plan on displaying pedals for sale or trade.

If you’re simply coming to browse, shop, or hang out, no registration is required. Just show up and enjoy!

There is plenty of parking available, although carpooling is always appreciated.

Before You Come

A few tips that will make the day even better for everyone:

✅ Test your pedals!

Gear gremlins are real.

If a pedal has been sitting on a shelf for six months, plug it in before the event. Even if it worked perfectly last week…test it again!

✅ Give them a quick cleaning.

A clean pedal simply presents better, and if you still have the original box, manuals, or goodies, bring those along too.

✅ Put a price on everything.

Price tags make buying and trading much easier.

Not sure what something is worth?

Spend a few minutes checking recent sales on Reverb or eBay before arriving.

✅ Bring the correct power supply.

If your pedal requires 12V or 18V, please mark it clearly and bring the appropriate power supply.

We’ll also have several power supplies available at the event.

Buying, Selling & Trading

One of the best parts of the Pedal Swap is that there are no rules about how deals happen.

Trade pedal for pedal.

Trade plus cash.

Sell outright.

Buy something you’ve been chasing for years.

It’s all part of the fun.

For purchases, we STRONGLY recommend using PayPal, Venmo, or another electronic payment method, simply because it’s fast, easy and provides a little extra peace of mind for both parties.

A Few Final Notes

* There are no physical tickets. We’ll have a registration list at check-in. Just bring your ID.
* Please DO NOT bring along amps or guitars.  Pedals only please!  
* Tables are assigned on a First-Come, First-Served basis.
* The Pedal Swap concludes promptly at 1:00 PM.
