The man, the myth, the legend. Is the DMM is arguably the greatest delay/modulation pedal of all time? We like to think so. Particularly these big box ones from the late 70s, and the 90s reissues.
This pretty darn clean example has a new (recycled) 2-prong power cord and extra long power/modulation switches, but everything else is original! The repeats are warm, the oscillations are otherworldly, and the chorus/vibrato is so musical even the most extreme, seasick settings yield usable tones that inspire your playing like few other pieces can. There's a world of flexibility in these units as they cover big lead delays, some of the best slapback you've ever heard, faux spring reverb, traditional chorus and vibrato, and so much more.
This original unit includes a wooden box (non original, from the 90s reissue era) with the sticker, warranty card, and directions one-sheet, making it a beautiful little package to have sit in your studio. Sonically, the pedal is worth every penny, but the inspiration derived from that silver/black/red enclosure? Priceless.
