Description

The Barbershop Millenium Overdrive has been a staple low-gain offering for years now. At its core is a JFET clipping circuit which provides a very pure breakup and responds astonishingly like tubes. It does not change your amp's tonal characteristics- it simply gives it more of itself! The Sag control is the key to changing this pedal from splatty Tweed-like drive, to a high headroom, crystal clear lead boost. The pedal naturally adds a touch of brightness to compensate for driving a an already pushed amp, but 2 ranges of hi-cut are available via the tone toggle for clean, bright amps. The Barbershop will suit any style and any rig for a first stage overdrive or an always on preamp.
