Hands down one of the most iconic guitars of all time- the '64 block inlay ES-335 has been fortuitously reissued by the Gibson Custom Shop!
This lively semi-hollow has a mellifluous woody snap when played unplugged, and positively sings through an amplifier! The Custombuckers (a milestone of Gibson's continued journey for the perfect PAF) are unpotted, so the tone is bright and clear, but easily tamable. Minimal fret wear- nearly invisible, and just a touch of buckle rash on the back are the only points of wear worth noting. The pickguard was removed (but will ship with the guitar) and the nylon saddle bridge was subbed for a standard ABR-1 with nickel plated brass saddles (the original bridge will ship with the guitar). Delightfully low action, stunning looks, and a professional vintage sheen via the VOS finish. This guitar can work and play.
We went reserved on the "VG" rating- as noted above, aside from the little bit of fret wear and buckle rash, the guitar is in beautiful shape, as well as the original case.
Very Good condition, includes OHSC, hang tags, and COA. Original pickguard and nylon saddle bridge will ship with the guitar, though they are not photographed.
