Hailing from right here in Minneapolis, Super Larry Amps dials in the 50s MCM aesthetic with the new Rally Sport! The creativity and attention to detail surrounding this amplifier is some of the most eye catching and impressive work that we as a shop have had the pleasure to show off. The Rally Sport is a handwired, all tube, 20 Watt combo based around a single KT88 power section. It houses a Celestion AlNiCo Gold speaker and boy does this have a voice that'll perk the ears.

Starting with the clean tone, you have a sound that is very much akin to Fender blackface era but with a lot more character in the mids. Here is where you can find some captivating jazz tones. Once the amp starts to overdrive, you get breakup and compression that sounds much more tweed-esque yet maintains articulation. This amp does the edge of breakup/sweet spot thing VERY well (especially with humbuckers).

Upon running countless pedals and guitars through it, we have confirmed that it also performs as a wonderful pedal platform. The master volume adds a ton of flexibility and if a Deluxe Reverb could get any more "Deluxe" this is exactly what you can expect.
