1963 Fender Bass VI - 3 Color Sunburst with Original Case - All Original

A nary-seen, spectacular and all-original example in a very unique 3-Color Sunburst with a deep red gradient. The frets and finish are in fantastic condition with only minor marks here and there- no pitting or flattening visible in the frets, as it was clearly sparingly used. Little needs to be said about this iconic instrument. A bass that plays as fast and as silken as a Strat can be dangerous! You got country licks on tap with the out of phase mode through a Twin. You can instantly capture the New Order bass tone with little more effort than plugging it into a mixing board. You can even spot one just like this in the Get Back documentary in the hands of George Harrison.

While the Bass VI never came to prominence the way the Jazz and P Basses did, it has always carved out its little corner in music history with a devout love from numerous players. Rarity sparked reissue after reissue, and now you have your shot at a real one! This collector grade example includes the trem bar, original string mute (foam missing), and brown tolex hardshell case.
