The 135 model from Gibson had a great run from '91-'04 as an arch top offering with some modern refinements to fight noise and feedback for players. This model can be seen as primarily a jazz guitar, but it is much, much more. It would feel at home in any number of musical scenarios where a snappy, woody tone is desired. The P100s are dead quiet and utilizing the full range of the tone controls comes naturally to mute these hot pickups- all the way into bebop territory. Strumming and single note lines both sing with vibrancy, and the guitar is incredibly comfortable to play sitting or standing.
It has seen some play, but there's a long road ahead for this one. The finish is in great shape, all points of adjustment respond with ease, and the frets will not require any attention for a while yet. This elegant beauty needs a new home! Whatever style you may play, we're sure you'll find some inspiration and joy in this marvelous instrument.
