1983 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe with Gibson Chainsaw Case - Cherry Sunburst

Here's one! A positively gorgeous 1983 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in a striking cherry sunburst finish. 

This guitar just got back to the floor after getting a neck reset and fret level/recrown. It plays beautifully with low action, and a nice slinky feel. All original and in very good condition with some extremely minor finish wear around the neck joint but nothing distracting. Everything is glossy and structurally sound and all the electronics sound off with guts and gusto. Chainsaw case and all, this LP Deluxe is the real deal! After the pancake body years, but with a slim 80s neck for those who like to go fast! We plugged this up into the 1976 Mesa Mark I we have on  the floor and got some seriously screaming' 70s tones. This is the kinda guitar that takes you back- playing for pure enjoyment, coveting your uncle's sunburst Les Paul, wanting to come home to play after work or school every day. Weighing in at 11 lbs it is on point for this era of Gibson, but it's so fun to play you hardly even notice it!
