2012 Fender American Vintage '59 Stratocaster - Faded Sonic Blue

Just in! These beauties do not come up for sale often! The American Vintage 59 Strat model though short lived, was wildly popular among players and collectors of all kinds. Noted for its beautiful selection of finishes, Slab Rosewood board with clay dots, and super sweet Pure Vintage pickups- right out of the box, these guitars were a hit. In 2012, Fender tried doing some super thin finishes to get more life out of the guitar and liken them even more to the vintage models- but this was quickly phased out due to customer complaints about blemishes. This one has really thin skin, and it's already on its way to becoming a super cool relic! Note all the wear, some light checking, and the greening of the finish in the tummy cut, as well as the cutaways on the guitar. The wear is well documented in our photos, but if you have any questions, give us a shout!

This one is all stock- aside from a gold saddle under the G string. The frets are showing some wear but just received a level and crown- still showing 70-80% of their original height. With 10s, the guitar plays super slinky with a ton of resonance- it feels every bit like an old Strat should. It's a loud guitar acoustically, and plugged in it gives you the quack and glass you'd want- and a beautiful sounding middle pickup you'll actually want to use!

Included is the original case, a Tom's Vintage Strap (which matches the guitar perfectly), and allllll the candy! Good to Very Good cosmetically. Excellent functioning shape.
