This LP has seen some better days cosmetically, but it is one of the better playing Standards that we've come across of the last 20 years. It's been through a lot- partial headstock break, dents, dings, scratches, and something even looks to have burned into the finish by the control plate. Wear and tear aside, it is in great playing shape. Superb action and resonance, and rock solid all around. This guitar is NOT for collectors or anyone looking for a pristine. If you're looking for a player rather than a first-born, this could be a great option for you. Some higher end Epiphones are fetching $1500 these days, but you have your chance for a real Gibson. It will be an excellent workhorse player to anyone seeking that classic LP look and sound.
