Handwired and built in Minneapolis, MN! At Mars takes cool old Filmosound and Bell and Howell projector amps and turns them into tweed deluxe style amplifiers that sound great and have a vibe all their own.
There's the more-popular Specialist model, the Convincer, and here we have the Torque. A fixed bias, punchy amp when clean(ish), and as it works harder you get more of that flattened out Neil Young-esque fuzz. Super cool piggyback head + cab setup. The oversized 1x12" has a ton of punch and body, and the ported/convertible style allows for more open-back voiced tones and airy ambience. We love the British Racing Green tolex and basket weave tolex combo!
