The Rectifier Recording Preamp offers pure analog “Recto Direct” circuitry for both recording and live use, without any digital modeling. It features dedicated standard “live” outputs for routing to a power amp through six 12AX7 tubes. The preamp includes two fully independent channels with six modes: Channel 1 offers Clean, Fat, or Brit; Channel 2 provides Raw, Vintage High Gain, or Modern High Gain. Each channel has independent controls for Gain, Treble, Mid, Bass, Presence, and Master. Additionally, Channel 1 includes a Bright and Pad switch, while Channel 2 offers a Live Bright/Warm Record Voice switch. This preamp also includes independent Record and Live output controls and a footswitchable Solo Level control. A Smart Power™ function trigger is available to control the Smart Power Modes (Deep, Half Drive, or Modern) on select MESA power amps.
