The famed buzzsaw tones found on early Jesus and Mary Chain records, as well as Joy Division and Radiohead, were spit out of a Shin-Ei FY-2 fuzz. The huge sag, upper octave artifacts, and grinding sustain are all present in the Shiny. What's different? More output so you can properly match unity gain on your amplifier, and a refined low-end to keep some note definition intact. Power chords are all that is required with this harmonically rich fuzz device!
