1962 Gibson SG Junior Guitar

Well well well... look what just rolled into the shop... This 1962 SG Junior just recieved a full setup by our staff and is playing great. The action is nice and low and it still has the original P90 pickup, pots, and wiring. The cherry nitro finish on the front of this guitar has mellowed considerably when compared to the brighter cherry glow on the back.  We're not sure when, but this Junior did have a headstock break that was repaired by Browns Guitar Factory (AAA/Gold-rated repair shop) and besides the dark laquer at the site, the damage looks and feels undetectable. This guitar has also been refretted by a professional Luthier with Dunlop 6120 frets and there looks to be PLENTY of life in them with little to no divoting. Frets 9 and 19 have new MOP dot inlays as well as the nut, bridge and tuners also having replacments (Original bridge is in the case).

All of these newer elements look like they have been skillfully executed and keep this guitar alive and playing great. This instrument has not only stood the test of time but will keep playing for many more years to come.
