The Stingray bass is known and loved for it's full frequency response, clarity, and twangy, noiseless, high output! MM basses are found across all genres from country to funk to punk to metal. You could consider it the next greatest bass invention since the Precision Bass!

In 1976, the Stingray was the first bass to offer active EQ on board, and its legacy has remained intact through the years pre and post Ernie Ball ownership with an added Mid control. In recent decades, Music Man's QC has been nigh untouchable- nearly every guitar or bass you pick up from them is an equal chance "winner". Known for smooth play, stability, and high quality hardware- it's no wonder its been a staple for some of the most talented bassists around. This one has been played and shows some light wear in the body (mostly just the pick guard), but the frets are immaculate and it sets up like a champ! Plus, black with a maple board? Hard to get much cooler than that!

Decent in the weight department at a little over 8.5 lbs, it includes the original hardshell case and we rate this one at a Very Good 8.5/10 condition. 10/10 for making music!
