The Taconite Standard 4 is a 34" scale, 4 string offering that can combine the worlds of Stingray, P-Bass, Jazz Bass, and some of the lesser seen boutique offerings like Spector and Alembic. This superbly ergonomic design feels wildly comfortable to play resting on the shoulder or while seated, and a bevvy of sounds are yours to dial in with an easy to use set of controls. Active and Passive performance from the pickups, paired with a 3-band EQ allows you to dial in fat humbucking tone, and quickly jump to an articulate, slap friendly sound. The build is stunning with a natural Oak top/Ash body and matched pickup covers that offer an elegant, natural look. For people who like to be reminded of their instrument's forested beginnings- you can't beat an all natural, oil finish across the whole bass. We're dying to see this one flash-forward 50 years!
