2022 Jimmy Wallace Javelin - Korina

Jimmy Wallace guitars from Garland, TX draw inspiration from the past, yielding some of the most unique, yet familiar models we've come across. This "Javelin" model combines the world of flat-top LP, Firebird, and unmistakable PAF tone into a one-of-a-kind instrument that's light on the shoulder, easy on the eyes, and butter under your fingertips.

Spencer Deaton is the lead luthier on staff at Jimmy Wallace, and his skill is well displayed throughout this guitar. A clean, even nitro finish over a gorgeous Korina body and neck. The 59 carve and Firebird headstock add a ton of character, meanwhile keeping vintage appeal and comfort the number 1 priority. The wraparound tailpiece intonates perfectly, and the low action feels like a million bucks on this guitar; easy to play, but doesn't impede the sustain or resonance. Singing out from this guitar are a pair of Jimmy Wallace PAFs- a fine way to save yourself several thousand on a real set of 59s. They quack with the best of em and gain up beautifully through every amp we have on hand. 

Wear of note includes some small marks here and there on the back and underside of the guitar. These marks are only noticeable in the right light, usually smaller in length than the radius of a dime, and do not discolor the finish. A slight case imprint in the nitro is visible in the top bout- almost invisible to a camera lens, but much like the rest of the wear- you're only gonna see it if you're really looking.
