In on consignment we have Brent Hinds' 1962 Gretsch 6119 Chet Atkins Tennessean. This is a very special instrument... Used by him to write the entirety of Fiend Without a Face's discography, this guitar has surf/noire/western vibes seeping out of the grain!

Kept in pretty marvelous shape, the only change we were made aware of was the Schaller tuners. Tons of fun to play, and the low-output Hilo'Tron pickups have a warm vintage snarl that give Duane Eddy, Chet Atkins, and Charlie Megira. All your expected play wear is visible with dents, dings, and very attractive checking throughout. Frets are in pretty good shape- unlikely that they are original, but we may only speculate. They sit relatively low with no major indentations. Buzz throughout the guitar is minimal. 

This one makes you wanna strum for hours- it's an inspiring axe! Brent has stated this was "his most prized possession" in the note that he wrote and signed for the buyer. The letter and a picture of him holding the guitar are included with purchase.

This guitar was last sold at Carter Vintage in Nashville, TN to Brent. Brent went ahead and sold this one himself to its current owner via eBay.
