2023 Gibson Custom Shop M2M '57 Les Paul Gold Top

Just in, this M2M '57 Les Paul Standard is a one of a kind build! The Made to Measure series gives the buyer the ability to tailor the guitar to their preferred specs, complete with vintage appointments and in this case a unique HB/P-90 pickup configuration with an eye catching, classic gold top finish. Tom Schulz fans are sure to find some appeal here! We plugged it into a Rockman headphone amp and were instantly able to nail those otherworldly guitar tones. The fat humbucker sound with the articulation of the bridge position pairs like a charm with the barky, rolled-off bass response of the P90 in the neck. In the middle position you have a deliciously quacky tone that might be among some of the finer clean tones we've ever heard with 6V6 style amp with some 'verb. Vintage Jescar fretwire makes moving about the fingerboard fast and smooth, while the 1pc Mahogany body clings to notes with almost endless sustain. Everything a Les Paul should be!
